In nature, horses are trimming their feet constantly.  It is very un-natural for a horse to have a trim every 6 to 10, sometimes even 12 weeks.  If the hoof is allowed to over grow, numerous mutations can occur, like flares, over grown bars, run-underheels, mechanical stretching of the white line, cracks, the list goes on.  

Just by scheduling regular trims, you will heal the majority of these problems, or completely avoid them all together!  Because we want you to put your horse's health first, we  offer reduced pricing for customers that schedule regular trims.  

• $45 for the set up trim - If you are a first time customer, or it has been longer than 5 weeks since your horse's last trim, your horse's foot may be out of balance.  It takes some extra time and effort to re-balance a horse's foot, so that is why the first trim is a little more expensive.
• $35 for regular trim - If your horse has been trimmed at least once by Pegasus, he has begun the steps toward proper balanced growth.  The hoof will not look long, but we can be much more successful and speed recovery by trimming the hoof before it has a chance to become unbalanced again.  Trimming during the 5th week seems to be the perfect amount of time during the recovery period.
